Commemorative issue: 600th Anniversary of the death of John the Blind at the battle of Crécy.
Obverse: Portrait on the left of Prince Jean (1921-2019), Grand Duke heir of Luxembourg. On the left the crowned escutcheon of the Bourbons, on the right the escutcheon of Luxembourg surmounted by a crested helmet. Legend around.

Engraver: Armand Bonnetain
Reverse: Warrior (representing John the Blind) straddling to the right with the crested helmet, brandishing a sword with his right hand and covering himself with a shield with the arms of Luxembourg. Behind him is a banner inscribed with its motto in hollow.
