Obverse: On an altar adorned with the coats of arms of Osnabrück and Münster, placed above two crossed olive branches and partially covered with a carpet, is an open book on which is written: IN-STRV-MENT PAC WEST-PHAL, all illuminated by the eye of Providence. In the exergue: FELICIS, AVSPIONS
Reverse: NOVA IVBILA NVNCIA ORBI. Fame hovering above the terrestrial globe on which is written: GERMAN SECVL MDCCXLVIII. Fame is playing a trumpet, on the fanon of which is written: PAX WEST PHAL, and holding in her left hand an olive branch.
